How do I get started?

How does personal training work?

It works in different ways for different people, but at a high-level it’s a dedicated hour where you are the priority. I come with a workout plan specifically designed for who you are and what you’re trying to achieve. I teach you how to do the movements and monitor your form for safety and effectiveness. It’s not a bootcamp. I don’t yell at you. I’m there to support you in a way that is present, helpful and, honestly, kind of fun. The cost is $90/session or $850 for a 10-session punch card.

Can I workout from my own home?

Yes. Some of my clients choose to work with me in-person in my private fitness studio in Vermont, but others prefer to train from their own home via video call. Either option works great.

Additionally, many of my clients — whether they see me in-person or via video call — opt to do the Personalized Home Programming Add-On. They meet with me live once or twice per week, and then workout on their own the other days of the week, following the personalized plan I provide them.

What is the “4 Week Intro To Strength Training Package”?

It’s a focused program for anyone brand new to lifting who wants to learn the fundamentals in a safe, supportive way. You’ll get two personal coaching sessions (in person or via video call) where I’ll walk you through the key movements, check your form, and answer your questions. The first session starts with a movement assessment so I can understand how you move and ensure that the exercises we do are right for your body and your goals. In addition to our coaching sessions, you’ll follow 4 weeks of home workouts (three per week) designed to teach you proper technique and help you feel comfortable using resistance. You’ll need resistance bands and a foam roller, and I strongly recommend having dumbbells as well. Throughout the month, I’ll be there to provide guidance, accountability, and encouragement so you finish the program knowing the fundamentals of how to strength train safely and with confidence. The cost is $285 for the 4 week program.

What is the “12 Week Comprehensive Strength Training Package”?

It’s a step-by-step program designed to take you from a true beginner to someone who can lift with confidence and ease. You’ll get six one-on-one coaching sessions (in person or via video call) where I’ll teach you the movements, check your form, and answer your questions. The first session starts with a movement assessment so I can understand how you move and ensure that the exercises we do are right for your body and your goals. Along the way, you’ll follow 12 weeks of progressive home workouts (four per week) delivered through my app. I’ll be checking in, reviewing your workouts, and making adjustments as needed so you always feel supported. You’ll just need a set of dumbbells, resistance bands, and a foam roller — and I’ll help you choose affordable options if you don’t already have them. By the end, you’ll not only be stronger — you’ll know how to train safely, protect your bones, maintain muscle, and carry that strength into the rest of your life. The cost is $975 for the 12 week program. Graduates of this program receive a bonus 3 months of home workouts so you can keep the positive momentum going.
